The part about making vector too a shared_ptr is nonsense. It's allocated in the automatic store and doesn't need to be explicitly destroyed.

I like the general concept, but because it is relatively straightforward to play perfectly if you're careful enough, it needs something else to maintain some sort of challenge.

Possibilities might be some combination of...

- Reducing the inertia by one point every minute or two
- Adding a fixed time limit to the game
- Sometimes presenting impossible situations where you need to use "nExt hEx" - it's too easy when you know there's always a solution.
- Keeping a high score table

Love the new additions. Waiting with 'bated breath for the new version...

There are two things I would like to see with this game:

1) list of the top ten scores. It took me a while to see that the top score was even saved.

2) More information on what it takes to get to the end. I was having a \perfect\ (well - in my mind anyways) game - eg - I had an inertia score of 25 - and the game ended.

3) would also like an endless game - one where the object is to get the largest inertia score you can. get one wrong - game over.

Thanks Rob. We are planning the release of our free app as we speak. We are trying to time our marketing efforts too maximize momentum.

As for the 2 resources you recommended. I already had magic rank (The Magic Jungle Guys are Awesome), and am syncing my iPhone with App Sales Mobile as I comment. Ope! It's Done!

Thanks Again!!!

Congrats guys! Have you got a lite version going too? If not I think you should, anything over $0.99 IMO needs a lite version or people are hesitant to buy it.

Rob,

I signed up for "blog catalog" and added "WordPress.com Stats" yesterday. Added Akismet today. Thanks

I too believe that sharing knowledge and building communities is the way we will persevere in iPhone land. From the very beginning our company was formed on being open, I have signed too many NDA's and will sign more that I will have to honor. For me to force that upon my team ;) Plus running business like this knocked out all insecurities and made us rely on our own confidence and abilities.

BTW - I linked to your post about embedding a UIScrollview in a UITextview in your comment.
